These terms cover your use of staystudio.ca and the services provided by Stay Studio, operated by Trent Rollings as a sole proprietorship based in Alberta, Canada ("Stay Studio," "we," "us"). By placing an order, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, email hello@staystudio.ca before you order.
Stay Studio retouches the photos you provide and writes a new listing write-up for your short-term rental. Work is done remotely from the materials you send. No site visit is included. Finished files are delivered digitally, usually by a private Google Drive link.
Our packages and prices are shown on staystudio.ca and in our service menu, in Canadian dollars. We may update pricing at any time, but the price you pay is the price shown when you check out. Any applicable taxes are added at checkout where required.
Payment is made up front through our payment processor, Stripe, before work begins. For the Direct Booking package, we may take a deposit first and the balance before final delivery. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information.
You agree to send us the photos, listing details, and information we need to do the work. By submitting photos and content, you confirm that you own them or have the right to use them, and you give us permission to edit and adapt them so we can deliver your order. We will not use your photos as public samples or before-and-after examples unless you give us clear permission first.
Our standard turnaround is 48 hours, measured from when we have received your payment and all the materials we need. If your materials are incomplete or we are waiting on answers from you, the clock starts once we have what we need. We will always tell you if anything is holding up your order.
We want you to be happy with your files. Your order includes reasonable minor revisions, such as adjusting the edit on a photo or fine-tuning wording, within seven days of delivery. Larger changes, such as adding more photos than your package includes or rewriting for extra platforms, may be a new order.
Because our work is custom and begins promptly, our refund policy is as follows:
If you are ever unhappy, email us. We would always rather fix it than leave you disappointed.
Once your order is paid in full, the finished photos and write-up are yours to use for your rental listings and marketing. We retain the right to display our work as portfolio samples only with your permission, as noted above.
We enhance your photos to show your property at its best. We do not fabricate features or misrepresent your space. You are responsible for making sure your listing, once you publish it, accurately describes your property to your guests.
Stronger photos and a better write-up help most listings, and we do our best work for you. However, bookings and nightly rates depend on many factors outside our control, including your pricing, calendar, location, reviews, and the market. We do not guarantee any specific increase in bookings, revenue, or nightly rate.
You agree to provide accurate information, to have the rights to any content you send us, and to follow the rules of any platform where you publish your listing (such as Airbnb, VRBO, or Booking.com).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stay Studio's total liability for any claim relating to your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost bookings or lost revenue.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Alberta.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Orders are governed by the terms in effect when you placed them.
