Privacy Policy

Stay Studio ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Trent Rollings as a sole proprietorship based in Alberta, Canada. This policy explains what information we collect when you use staystudio.ca or our service, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

We only collect what we need to do the work and stay in touch:

• Information you give us: your name, email, phone number (if you share it), your property name or address, your listing links, details about your place, and the photos you upload for us to work on.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation that you paid and basic order details. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Basic website information: if you arrive from one of our postcards or emails, we may record the reference code in the link so we know which campaign brought you. We may also use simple, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used.

How we use your information

• To deliver your order: retouch your photos and write your listing write-up.
• To contact you about your order, ask any questions, and send your finished files.
• To process your payment and keep records for tax and accounting.
• To improve our service and understand which outreach is working.

Your photos

The photos you send are used only to produce your retouched images and to inform your write-up. We do not sell them or share them publicly. We will only ever use one of your photos as a before-and-after example or marketing sample if you give us clear permission first.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the business, and only as needed:

• Stripe to process payments.
• Supabase to securely store your form details and uploaded photos.
• Google to deliver your finished files by a private Google Drive link, and for email.

These providers may store or process data on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. We choose reputable providers that maintain their own security and privacy protections.

How long we keep it

We keep your order details and files for as long as needed to deliver your work, support you afterward, and meet legal and tax record-keeping requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below), subject to records we are required to retain.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using trusted providers and limiting access. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To do any of these, just email hello@staystudio.ca and we will help. You can also unsubscribe from any of our emails at any time.

Children

Our service is for vacation rental owners and is not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
